Placing the order from France
Yes — a purchaser in France can order for a recipient anywhere we deliver in Ontario. Checkout keeps two addresses apart, and the order goes wrong only when they're mixed:
- Your side. Card name, street address, code postal and commune and code postal go in the billing fields, nowhere else.
- Their side. Name, street, city, ON, a Canadian postal code such as M5V 3L9, and the recipient's own phone number in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls the recipient, never the buyer.
- The message. The greeting card names you as the sender; the paperwork in the parcel shows no prices.
Money matters for a France buyer
PricingIn CAD. The store's menu can restate prices in EUR at an indicative rate.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The euros equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from France go through when the billing address is the card's.
Border feesThere aren't any. The gift is domestic on the Canadian side, so customs, duty and import charges never come into it, and the recipient owes nothing.
How soon can it get there?
Not your postcode — the recipient's Canadian one. The checkout's delivery service looks it up and tells you same-day or courier, and how long.
The 11:00 a.m. Eastern cut-off gives same-day delivery in Toronto and the GTA (free from $100 up, else the charge at checkout); the 2 p.m. Eastern cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of Ontario, one to three business days away, with the rate at checkout.
The Toronto cut-offs in France time
Read the deadlines in Eastern Time, the recipient's zone. Same-day (Toronto and the GTA): order by 11:00 a.m. Eastern, any day; businesses receive no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. Courier (rest of Ontario): order by 2 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday, to ship that day; one to three business days to arrive. For September 21, 2026, that means:

Note the table is for the date above (daylight saving on either side moves things by an hour); the live line above it is today's. Checkout wants the recipient's date, Eastern time: if Toronto is already past 11 a.m., same-day means tomorrow there. Days off: Oct 12, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1.
Alphabets: the card and the label
Although French is what people speak in France, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.
- The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed.
- Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
- Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
- Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the France country code.

Tracking your order
Order Tracking needs the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Allow a few minutes after ordering; if nothing shows after that, send support the order number from the confirmation email.

A person answers at customer support (+1 (416) 259-2400) between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern, with extended hours during major holidays, as the store states (read 2026-09-17). Your equivalent on September 21, 2026:
- France (CEST): 3:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day
Alcohol
Sending a bottle to Ontario is allowed when the person receiving it is 19 or above (the legal drinking age). Whoever takes it in must be 19+ and show photo ID; alcohol is never left unattended; courier deliveries need an adult signature; and an empty house means a re-attempt or a held parcel. Alcohol-free gourmet baskets and kosher wines are also on the store.

Is a card from France a problem?
Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a French billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.
Could the recipient get a bill for customs or delivery?
No — there's no border crossing, so no customs, duty or import fee. Delivery is free on orders of $100 or more in the same-day zone, and courier shipping is charged to you at checkout.
What's the same-day deadline?
11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day itself, for Toronto and GTA addresses — the table above gives it in France time. Other Ontario addresses: order by 2 p.m. Eastern and it ships that day, arriving in one to three business days.
Does someone need to be there to receive it?
Not usually. Drivers use a safe spot or a neighbour and notify the recipient; couriers can leave it safely. Only gifts with alcohol wait — they're re-attempted or held.
