Buying from Germany, delivering in Ontario
Yes — a purchaser in Germany can order for a recipient anywhere we deliver in Ontario. Checkout keeps two addresses apart, and the order goes wrong only when they're mixed:
- The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, Postleitzahl and city and Postleitzahl (PLZ).
- The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, ON, the M5V 3L9-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
- The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.
Currency and payment from Germany
The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display EUR equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
How it's chargedIn Canadian dollars, the full amount visible before you pay — gift, Canadian tax, delivery to the address. What appears in euros on your statement is your bank's conversion at its rate, sometimes with a fee the store doesn't control.

No border costsBecause the basket is assembled and delivered within Canada there is no duty, customs or import charge, and the recipient owes nothing.
When can it arrive?
Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.
Toronto and the GTA: same-day on orders placed by 11:00 a.m. Eastern, free on orders of $100 and more and a checkout-quoted charge under that. The rest of Ontario: courier in one to three business days for orders by 2 p.m. Eastern, with shipping priced at checkout.
Cut-off times converted for Germany
Read the deadlines in Eastern Time, the recipient's zone. Same-day (Toronto and the GTA): order by 11:00 a.m. Eastern, any day; businesses receive no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. Courier (rest of Ontario): order by 2 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday, to ship that day; one to three business days to arrive. Writing the card and the address from Germany
Although German is what people speak in Germany, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.
- Message. Type it in whatever language you like, provided it's in Latin letters — what you type is what prints.
- The payer's details. Latin letters, exactly as the card issuer has them.
- Where it's going. The recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters; the delivery label is English and a name in another script won't be recognised at the door.
- Telephones. Give the recipient's Canadian number with its area code in the delivery fields; yours can include the Germany dialling code.

Following the order
Use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Brand-new orders sometimes lag by a few minutes — if yours doesn't appear, support can find it by the order number in your confirmation email.

Drinks: who can receive them
You can send wine, champagne, beer or spirits to any address in Ontario provided the recipient is 19 or older — the legal drinking age here. Handover is to a person 19+ with photo ID only; the gift is never left unattended; couriers take an adult signature; and if no adult is home the delivery is re-attempted or held. Alcohol-free gourmet ranges and kosher wine are stocked.

Can I pay with a card issued in Germany?
Yes — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are accepted from a German billing address. The charge is in Canadian dollars; your bank converts it.
Any duty or fees at their end?
None. The basket is assembled and delivered in Canada, so customs and import fees don't apply. Same-day-zone delivery is free on orders of $100 or more; courier costs appear at your checkout.
What's the same-day deadline?
11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day itself, for Toronto and GTA addresses — the table above gives it in Germany time. Other Ontario addresses: order by 2 p.m. Eastern and it ships that day, arriving in one to three business days.
