Placing the order from Hong Kong
Yes — a purchaser in Hong Kong can order for a recipient anywhere we deliver in Ontario. Checkout keeps two addresses apart, and the order goes wrong only when they're mixed:
- The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, district and region — Hong Kong uses no postal code and district (no postal code).
- The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, ON, the M5V 3L9-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
- The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.

Cut-off times converted for Hong Kong
Everything is timed on Eastern Time, which is what the recipient in Ontario lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Toronto and the GTA the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of Ontario go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Eastern on a weekday and take one to three business days. Here is what those cut-offs are for September 21, 2026:

Alphabets: the card and the label
Although English and Cantonese are what people speak in Hong Kong, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.
- The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed. A message in Traditional Chinese has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
- Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
- Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
- Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the Hong Kong country code.

The rules on alcohol
Wine, champagne, beer and spirits can be sent to any address in Ontario where the recipient is 19 or over — Ontario's legal drinking age. The driver or courier hands a gift containing alcohol only to someone 19+ with photo ID and never leaves it unattended; a courier delivery needs an adult signature. If nobody of age is home, it's re-attempted or held for collection. Kosher wine and alcohol-free gourmet ranges are on the store.
