Buying from India, delivering in Ontario
A India card and a Ontario delivery address are a normal combination here. The one thing to get right is which details go where:
- The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, city, state and PIN code and PIN code.
- The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, ON, the M5V 3L9-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
- The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.
Money matters for a India buyer
PricesSet in Canadian dollars (CAD). The store's currency menu shows USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY estimates; Indian rupees is not among them — the CAD price is the one to compare.
The chargeYour card is charged in Canadian dollars. Canadian sales tax and the delivery charge for the recipient's address are shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider converts the CAD amount into Indian rupees at its own rate and may add its own fee — the store doesn't set or see that rate.

When can it arrive?
Give the recipient's Canadian postal code and the store's delivery service says what that address gets: same-day, or courier and how long.
Order by 11:00 a.m. Eastern for same-day delivery in Toronto and the GTA (free delivery from $100 up, else the fee shows at checkout); by 2 p.m. Eastern for courier to the rest of Ontario, one to three business days, rate shown at checkout.
Cut-off times converted for India
Everything is timed on Eastern Time, which is what the recipient in Ontario lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Toronto and the GTA the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of Ontario go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Eastern on a weekday and take one to three business days. Here is what those cut-offs are for September 21, 2026:

Two calendars are in play: the table is correct for the date it names and moves an hour when either country changes its clocks, while the live line is today's. Checkout wants the recipient's date in Eastern time — with Toronto past 11 a.m., the earliest same-day date is the next one. Closure days: Oct 12, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1.
Writing the card and the address from India
India's languages are English and Hindi; our store, checkout and delivery labels are English.
- The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed. A message in Devanagari and other Indian scripts has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
- Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
- Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
- Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the India country code.

Tracking your order
Use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Brand-new orders sometimes lag by a few minutes — if yours doesn't appear, support can find it by the order number in your confirmation email.

Drinks: who can receive them
A bottle — wine, champagne, beer, spirits — can be delivered to any Ontario address where the recipient is at least 19, Ontario's legal drinking age. It is handed only to someone 19+ with photo ID, is never left unattended, and on a courier route needs an adult signature; if no adult is in, it's tried again or held for pickup. Kosher wines and alcohol-free gourmet options are available too.
Questions from India buyers
Can I pay with a card issued in India?
Yes — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are accepted from a Indian billing address. The charge is in Canadian dollars; your bank converts it.
Will the recipient be asked to pay customs or delivery?
Nothing — no customs, no duty, no import fee, because the gift never leaves Canada. Delivery is free on orders of $100 or more in the same-day zone, and any courier charge is shown to you, the buyer, at checkout.
Same-day from abroad — really?
Yes, when the address is in Toronto or the GTA and the order arrives by 11:00 a.m. Eastern that day (see the India equivalent in the table). The rest of Ontario is courier: order by 2 p.m. Eastern, delivered in one to three business days.
How do I pick the arrival date?
Select the day it should land at the recipient's address, reckoned in Eastern time. Past 11 a.m. in Toronto, the earliest same-day option is the next day.
Is alcohol allowed in the gift?
Yes, when the recipient is 19 or older. Photo ID is checked at the door and alcohol is never left unattended.
