Placing the order from the Netherlands
We take orders from the Netherlands every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:
- Payer: name as on the card, street address, postcode and city, postcode — in billing.
- Receiver: name, Canadian street address, city, ON, a postal code like M5V 3L9, and their own phone number — in delivery; the driver or courier rings the receiver.
- Sender line: your name goes on the greeting card, and the packing slip carries no prices.
The charge, in plain terms

How it's chargedIn Canadian dollars, the full amount visible before you pay — gift, Canadian tax, delivery to the address. What appears in euros on your statement is your bank's conversion at its rate, sometimes with a fee the store doesn't control.
Card typesVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (the store's listed marks, 2026-09-17). A the Netherlands card is accepted; give the billing address your bank holds.
Border feesThere aren't any. The gift is domestic on the Canadian side, so customs, duty and import charges never come into it, and the recipient owes nothing.
How soon can it get there?
Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.
Two services: same-day hand delivery in Toronto and the GTA (order by 11:00 a.m. Eastern; free at $100 and above, the fee shown at checkout below that) and courier across Ontario (order by 2 p.m. Eastern; one to three business days; cost at checkout).
Cut-off times converted for the Netherlands
The clock that matters is the recipient's — Eastern Time. Toronto and the GTA: same-day when the order lands by 11:00 a.m. Eastern, every day of the week, with businesses served no later than 5 p.m. and homes no later than 9 p.m. Rest of Ontario: courier, shipped the same day for orders by 2 p.m. Eastern (weekdays), one to three business days in transit. Alphabets: the card and the label

- On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it.
- On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
- On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
- On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry the Netherlands's country code.

Alcohol
Wine, champagne, beer and spirits go anywhere in Ontario as long as the recipient is 19 or over, the province's legal drinking age. A driver or courier will only hand alcohol to a person 19+ with photo ID, never leaves it unattended, and a courier requires an adult's signature; with nobody of age at home, delivery is re-attempted or the parcel is held. The store also stocks kosher wine and alcohol-free gourmet ranges.
Ordering from The Netherlands: what people ask
Will a the Netherlands bank card work?
It will. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are all taken with a Dutch billing address; you're charged in CAD and your bank does the conversion.
Any duty or fees at their end?
None. The basket is assembled and delivered in Canada, so customs and import fees don't apply. Same-day-zone delivery is free on orders of $100 or more; courier costs appear at your checkout.
How early must I order for delivery today?
Before 11:00 a.m. Eastern (converted for the Netherlands in the table above) if the address is in Toronto or the GTA. For the rest of Ontario the courier cut-off is 2 p.m. Eastern, then one to three business days.
What will it cost me in euros?

Do I choose the delivery date in my time zone?
