Placing the order from the Philippines
Nothing about a the Philippines order is unusual to us; the only slip we ever see is the buyer's details typed where the recipient's belong:
- The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, barangay, city, province and ZIP code and ZIP code.
- The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, ON, the M5V 3L9-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
- The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.
Money matters for a the Philippines buyer
CurrencyCanadian dollars throughout. There's no Philippine pesos view in the currency menu (it stops at USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY), so work from the CAD price.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The Philippine pesos equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.

What 11 a.m. in Toronto means in the Philippines
Toronto works on Eastern Time. An order in by 11:00 a.m. Eastern is hand-delivered the same day anywhere in Toronto and the GTA, seven days a week — businesses no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. For everywhere else in Ontario, courier orders placed by 2 p.m. Eastern on a weekday ship that day and arrive within one to three business days. In the Philippines's own time on September 21, 2026:

Because both sides observe daylight saving on different dates, the gap can change by an hour; the live line is recalculated each visit and the table is fixed to its date. - The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed.
- Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
- Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
- Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the the Philippines country code.

The rules on alcohol
A bottle — wine, champagne, beer, spirits — can be delivered to any Ontario address where the recipient is at least 19, Ontario's legal drinking age. It is handed only to someone 19+ with photo ID, is never left unattended, and on a courier route needs an adult signature; if no adult is in, it's tried again or held for pickup. Kosher wines and alcohol-free gourmet options are available too.

Is a card from the Philippines a problem?
Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Filipino billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.
Is there anything for the recipient to pay?
No. Made and delivered within Canada means no customs or import charges; delivery in the same-day zone is free on orders of $100 or more, and courier shipping is paid by you at checkout.
Is same-day possible from where I am?
