Gift baskets in Ontario, paid for in Quebec
Ordering from Quebec works exactly like ordering from Toronto itself: we assemble the gift to order and deliver it in Ontario — same-day in Toronto and the GTA, courier beyond. The only differences are the clock, the tax and the age rule, and this page explains each.
Delivery timing for a Quebec buyer
Our cut-offs run on Toronto's clock. Same-day delivery across Toronto and the GTA needs the order in by 11:00 a.m. Eastern; the courier run to the rest of Ontario needs it by 2:00 p.m. Eastern and takes one to three business days. Converted for September 21, 2026 into the time you keep:
| Your time zone | Same-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. Eastern) | Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. Eastern) |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (nearly all of Quebec) (EDT) | 11:00 a.m. | 2:00 p.m. |
| Atlantic (the Magdalen Islands) (ADT) | 12:00 p.m. | 3:00 p.m. |
Today on this device: — for same-day, — for courier (your device's time zone: —).
For same-day orders: businesses no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m., every day of the week. The courier runs on business days only. Closed for delivery on Oct 12, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1.
Delivery for their address
One field, the recipient's postal code: it returns whether that Ontario address is on our same-day runs or on the courier, and roughly how long the courier takes.
The checker reads the delivery postal code; the buyer's postal code is a checkout matter.
Ontario's tax and Ontario's age, not yours
For an Ontario delivery that means Ontario's tax and Ontario's age, even for a buyer in Quebec.
What's added to the priceOntario's 13% HST rather than Quebec's 5% GST + 9.975% QST.
Free or not?Free from $100 up anywhere in Toronto and the GTA. Beyond the same-day area the courier charge for the recipient's postal code appears before you pay.
Their telephone numberBelongs with the delivery address; it's the number the driver or courier will ring.
The card in the basketYour words, your name — the recipient sees who sent it and never a price.

Quebec to Ontario, by the numbers
Quebecers send mostly into the same-day zone — 87% of their Ontario gifts — with 50% to Toronto, 7% to Mississauga and 4% to Oakville. The typical Quebec order is the $150 median. 31% of orders arrive in December. A workplace is the delivery address 32% of the time, versus 24% for everyone who buys from us.
Too few Quebec orders to rank gifts honestly; the percentages describe the pattern and the grid leans on the store's bestsellers. Figures are shares of orders paid for in Quebec and delivered in Ontario, 2022 to today; the median is the middle order, not an average.
Following the order from afar
Tracking the delivery
The tracking page asks for the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order and shows where the order stands — a same-day delivery once it is done, a courier parcel with the carrier's number.
Support hours where you are
Support runs 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Eastern, with extended hours during major holidays: +1 (416) 259-2400, or the contact page. That is, on September 21, 2026, in your clock:
- Eastern (nearly all of Quebec) (EDT): 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Atlantic (the Magdalen Islands) (ADT): 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Asked by Quebec buyers
What time do I have to order from Quebec for same-day delivery?
Toronto's same-day cut-off is 11:00 a.m. Eastern — 11:00 a.m. where you are. Orders after that go out the next delivery day; the courier for the rest of Ontario has its own 2:00 p.m. Eastern cut-off.
Can I write the card in my own words?
Yes, at checkout — it is printed exactly as typed, signed with your name, and nothing in the parcel mentions a price. Le français est le bienvenu sur la carte.
Where is delivery free?
Toronto and the GTA on orders of $100 and more. Anywhere else in Ontario goes by courier and the charge appears at checkout.
Will I know when it arrives?
Yes — the tracking page (the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order) shows a same-day delivery as completed and a courier parcel's progress with its tracking number.
What if I need to change the order?
Call +1 (416) 259-2400 (9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Eastern) or use the contact page; before the cut-off most changes are simple.
